MacFarlane Bridge

The MacFarlane Bridge in the RM of Mt. Pleasant Saskatchewan

The bridge didn’t need much work after the flood of 2011 but the banks and shoreline which protect the bridge washed-out. In 2014 the high water did more damage to the existing damage and the bridge piling became exposed.

Canada Bridge sent in a crew to rebuild the banks and re-protect the bridge. The banks have been replaced with a system of Rip-Rap and compacted clay. Combined with a 3:1 slope the bridge is back to being well protected against the next high water event.
